Pittsburgh’s South Side is known for its convenience to the city of Pittsburgh as well as being a popular neighborhood with local businesses and bars up and down East Carson Street. The South Side is also known for its many events especially the weekend before Pittsburgh’s Saint Patrick’s Day Parade as they celebrate St. Practice Day and the Annual Shamrocked on the Southside.
